1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.

2. To enter the Fresno Bee's "Scoopy Coloring Contest", submit your entry by U.S. mail, at the front counter of The Fresno Bee or by dropping it off at The Fresno Bee's Booth at The Big Fresno Fair. Limit one Entry per person. Improper or false entries submitted by a single person are void and any person who attempts or otherwise encourages, directly or indirectly, the Entry of improper or false contact information under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter or encourage, directly or indirectly, improper or false entries will be disqualified. ALL ENTIRES MUST BE RECEIVED DURING THE ENTRY PERIOD IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR Prize Awards. "Valid Entries" are completed entries that are received during the Entry Period.

3. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Valid entries must be submitted by, mail, at the front counter of The Fresno Bee or by dropping it off at The Fresno Bee's Booth at The Big Fresno Fair during entry period. Incomplete entries are void. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Photo ID may be required in order to claim prizes. All entries become the property of The Fresno Bee. Neither The Fresno Bee, its respective affiliates, parent, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotional agencies, or any telephone network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry or Entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service or any other error or malfunction or late, lost illegible or misdirected entries.

4. ELIGIBILITY By entering into and participating in this contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this contest. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to release The Fresno Bee, its affiliates and parent company, The McClatchy Company, and their directors, employees, officers, agents, and its advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activities, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. By participating in this drawing, entrants agree that California courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising form or relating to this drawing and that venue shall be only in Fresno, California. Further, all winners agree that their image and/or likeness and first name and city name, may be used in the promotion of future contests, drawings and/or The Fresno Bee products, with no further compensation being due to said winner. Employees of The McClatchy Company and its respective affiliated companies, divisions, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the contest. The Fresno Bee reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the contest should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond the control of the Fresno Bee corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Scoopy Coloring Contest.

5. SELECTION OF WINNER

The Fresno Bee will determine which entries are Valid Entries and whether the entries otherwise meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein ("Eligible Entries"). The Fresno Bee will randomly draw the winner(s) from all of the Eligible Entries. The Fresno Bee will be the sole judge of which entries are Eligible Entries and its decision and drawing will be final. The winner(s) will be notified by U.S. Mail, telephone or e-mail using the information provided on such winner's Entry. The Fresno Bee is not responsible for misdirected or corrupted e-mail addresses that prohibit a person from entering the Scoopy Coloring Contest or that prevent The Fresno Bee from identifying or contacting a winner. Should a winning entrant not respond to notification of selection within the time indicated in the notification, the winner forfeits its eligibility to win and The Bee, in its sole discretion, may select an alternate winner. Odds of winning depend upon the number of Eligible Entries received and the number of prizes allocated to the drawing.

6. WINNER

To obtain the number of eligible entrants in this particular contest or the name of the winners of any given drawing, -request these lists by mail to: Contest Winners List Request or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: The Fresno Bee, Community Relations, CA c/o Scoopy Coloring Contest, 1626 E Street, Fresno 93786. Requests must be received in writing within 90 days of the contest. Requests must include specific contest information such as the approximate date of drawing, prize(s) being offered and contest name.

7. PRIZE

Any expense not specifically stated as being included in the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner may not transfer or substitute the prize. Federal, state and local taxes, charges and incidental costs, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner.

8. PRIVACY POLICY

All Entry information collected in connection with these drawings shall be accessible by The Fresno Bee. Such information may be used by The Fresno Bee to contact each entrant directly with marketing or other information. By participating in these drawings, each entrant hereby consents to such use.
