The Medical Board of California has temporarily suspended the license of Fresno physician Jose Luis Flores for unknown reasons, court documents show.
A hearing in Sacramento on Wednesday considered evidence against Flores that included incident reports from Madera and Fresno County sheriff's departments.
Treatment records from three drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers were also presented, with King of Kings Community Center's Men's Recovery Home in Fresno among them.
A second hearing will be held on Oct. 3.
In 2004 Flores was convicted on one count of infliction of injury on a cohabitant in Yolo County and was sentenced to 72 days in jail, according to Medical Board of California records.
