Hot air balloons are expected to float over Old Town Clovis this weekend for the 39th annual ClovisFest and Hot Air Balloon Fun Fly at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds, if the weather allows it.

The annual event will open at 7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday with the launching of hot air balloons and continue with a free family festival from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the streets of Old Town Clovis.

The event will feature craft and food booths, live entertainment and carnival rides and games. A pumpkin patch and a "Summer Santa" will be on hand to hear the early Christmas wishes from children.
