Blood drives set for central San Joaquin Valley

Multiple blood drives are set to begin in the central San Joaquin Valley starting Sunday, including the Fresno City College blood drive on Sept. 19, the Central California Blood Center said.

The Fresno City College blood drive will be held Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mobile blood drives will be parked near the administration building, the bookstore and the health science building.

Other mobile blood drives will be held at the following locations:

Sunday: Fresno Buddhist Temple, 2720 E. Alluvial Ave., Clovis, 8 a.m.-noon.

Monday: Camarena Health, 344 E. 6th St., Madera, 8-11 a.m.; Sierra Telephone, 49150 Road 426, Oakhurst, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Tuesday: Adco Manufacturing, Inc., 2170 Academy Ave., Sanger, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; City of Clovis, 1033 Fifth St., Clovis, 1-4 p.m.

Wednesday: West Hills College, 555 College Drive, Lemoore, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; Fresno Acura, 7250 N. Palm Ave., Fresno, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Lithia Ford, Mazda, Suzuki, 195 E. Auto Center Drive, Fresno, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; KRM Risk Management, 4270 W. Richert Ave., Fresno, 1-4 p.m.; Cutler/Orosi Community, Orosi Veterans Memorial Hall, 41645 Road 128, Orosi, 4-8 p.m.

Sept. 19: Dinuba Community, 249 Alta Ave., Dinuba, 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Sept. 21: Sanger Farmer's Market, 7th and N Street, Sanger, 6-9 p.m.
