A Fresno man was arrested early Monday for allegedly setting a mobile home on fire in southeast Fresno, according to Fresno Fire Department reports.

The fire was set on the interior of a security mobile home that was parked on a McMillin Homes construction site on Walling Avenue near Church Avenue, just west of Clovis Avenue.

Witnesses near the fire reported hearing someone yelling for help saying that "someone was going to kill him." They called police, who detained the man who is believed to have started the fire.

The mobile home was occupied by CPS Security. Additional damage was reported to an adjacent construction trailer, owned by William Scottsman and occupied by McMillin Homes.

Other damage included a dump truck, owned by Larry Nelson Construction.
