The Save Mart Center on Friday announced a pair of big-named acts that will be stopping in Fresno this fall: Rapper/industrialist Jay Z and Southern folk jam group The Zac Brown Band.
Jay Z stops at the Save Mart Center on Dec. 10 as part of the North American leg of his "Magna Carter World Tour."
The 34-date arena tour kicks off on Nov. 30 in St. Paul, Minn., and continues through January, with a pair of shows in Jay Z's hometown of Brooklyn.
Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 12, although fans can RSVP for pre-sale tickets via the tour's Facebook page. Pre-sale tickets are available Sept. 11.
The rapper is coming off the release of "Magna Carta Holy Grail," which debuted at No. 1 when it came out in July, and a mega-successful summer tour co-headlining with pop music icon/actor Justin Timberlake.
When Jay Z last played the Save Mart Center in 2009, there were more than 9,000 fans in attendance.
The Zac Brown Band will also return to the Save Mart Center, playing the area on Nov. 15.
The Grammy-winning Southern folk jam band last played in Fresno in 2010. The band has grown in popularity since.
