Multiple blood drives are set to start in the central San Joaquin Valley through next week.
The 4th annual Pint for Pass blood drive will continue through Sept. 8 at locations in Fresno and Visalia.
Donors who give at any center or mobile drive will receive a voucher for a "Buy One, Get One Free" ticket to the 2013 Big Fresno Fair. Donors who give at the donor centers will also receive a commemorative T-shirt.
The Fresno donor centers are at 4343 W. Herndon Ave., 1196 E. Shaw Ave., #102, and 1010 E. Perrin Ave. The Visalia center is at 1515 S. Mooney Blvd.
A blood drive at California State University, Fresno begins Tuesday at the Residence Dining Hall at 5152 N. Barton Ave. from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The blood drive will contine on campus Wednesday at Engineering East, the Kremen School of Education and Human Development, the Maple Mall and the University Student Union from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Mobile blood drives in the Valley are scheduled from Sunday through Sept. 7 at the following locations:
- Sunday: Kingsburg First Baptist Church, 1615 Draper St., Kingsburg from 8 a.m. to noon; Cornerstone Church, 1545 Fulton St., Fresno, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Hanford Civic Park, 400 N. Douty Ave., Hanford, 1 to 5 p.m.
- Wednesday: George Christian Education Center, S. 6th St., South Dos Palos, 5 to 8 p.m.
- Sept. 6: Fresno County Office of Education, 1111 Van Ness Blvd., Fresno, 1 to 4 p.m.
- Sept. 7: Carter Hill Eagle Scout Project, 825 W. Tulare Ave., Visalia, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Buggy Shower Car Wash, 230 N. Gateway Drive, Madera, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Boax Field, Earlimart School District, 785 E. Center Ave., Earlimart, 9 a.m. to noon.
