A boy with autism who has been missing since Wednesday turned up safe at his home Wednesday afternoon.
Madera County sheriff's spokeswoman Erica Stuart said Jacob Frandsen, 14, appeared suddenly inside the home shortly after children were getting off a school bus nearby. Authorities' search for the child was called off at 3:30 p.m.
Madera County sheriff's deputies are searching for a 14-year-old autistic boy missing from his home since Wednesday morning.
Jacob Frandsen was last seen at 9 a.m. His home is in the 16000 block of Karen Road between avenues 16 1/2 and 17.
Jacob is 5 feet tall and weighs 90 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Jacob was last seen wearing a red shirt and khaki shorts.
