Community partners and veteran's leaders will meet Sept. 6 to discuss the needs of homeless veterans and those who might be at-risk for homelessness at the VA Central California Hospital auditorium, 2615 E. Clinton Ave., Fresno.
The 8 a.m. summit will discuss how the VA can meet its goal of ending veteran homelessness by 2015.
Plans involve programs and services split into six different areas: outreach and education, prevention, treatment, income/employment/benefits, housing/supportive services and community partnerships.
