The gang's back: ABC will air the first Disney/Pixar's special for television, "Toy Story of Terror!," featuring all of the characters from the "Toy Story" films, at 8 p.m. Oct. 16.
What starts out as a fun road trip for the "Toy Story" gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate.
The special features Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Carl Weathers as Combat Carl/Combat Carl Jr., Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, Wallace Shawn as Rex and Kristen Schaal as Trixie.
YEA!!!!!: Cheer Time Revolution's Youth Silver squad springs back into action on TLC's "Cheer Perfection" at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 28.
The reality series follows champion coach and gym owner Alisha Dunlap as she preps her teams to achieve nothing less than competition perfection. These girls ditch the pom-poms to enter a cutthroat world that commands superior precision, strength and fitness.
There will be eight one-hour episodes.
Back to the beach: After reviewing more than 5,000 Twitter submissions to its Name "Sharknado 2" social media contest, Syfy announced that the title of the eagerly anticipated "Sharknado" sequel is "Sharknado 2: The Second One."
"Since Twitter played such a huge role in the success of the original movie, we wanted to use that platform to ask our fans to name 'Sharknado 2.' This response is another reminder of how 'Sharknado' has become a pop culture phenomenon. We want to thank all our viewers for their wonderful contributions to keeping up the shark-mentum," says Thomas Vitale, Syfy's executive vice president, programming and original movies.
"Sharknado 2: The Second One" hits land July 2014. It will be set in New York City.
