Oregon State offensive tackle David Keller, who originally signed with Fresno State, has retired from football, the Corvallis (Ore.) Gazette-Times reported.

Keller made the decision after a concussion in the first week of the Beavers' fall camp. It wasn't the first time the former Memorial High standout had encountered the problem. "We were also aware of some high school stuff with him," Oregon State coach Mike Riley said.

Ian Taubler (Bullard) left UCLA's camp Monday with a concussion, the Los Angeles Times reported. The sophomore defensive end is not expected to return to camp, which ends Aug. 17.
