Fresno-area schools report images on social media of state testing

The Fresno BeeAugust 9, 2013

Three Clovis Unified schools and one each in Fresno Unified and Central Unified found at least one image on social media posted by a student taking the test.

Kelly Avants, spokeswoman for Clovis Unified, said the incidents were isolated and did not include postings or photos of actual test materials. Fresno Unified spokeswoman Jamilah Fraser said districts are required to report any photos taken during test time, even if they don't contain test information.

The schools identified as local sources of social media images were Clovis East High, Clovis North High, Alta Sierra Intermediate, Edison High and Central High East Campus.
