Tesla, Boyz II Men added to fair concert lineup

Boyz II Men have been added to the Big Fresno Fair's concert lineup.

Three more acts have been confirmed for The Big Fresno Fair 2013 Table Mountain Concert Series, expanding the lineup to a mix of country, classic rock and soulful R&B.

Boyz II Men plays the fair's opening night, 7 p.m. Oct. 2. The R&B act has sold more than 60 million records and won four Grammys.

Tesla, the '80s rock band famous for its rendition of the song "Signs," will be the fair's first weekend performance, taking the stage at 7 p.m. Oct. 4.

Other hot shows include ex-Hootie and the Blowfish now-country star Darius Rucker, who will end the concert series with a 7 p.m. Oct. 14 performance.

Members of the Big Fresno Fair Fan Club can buy tickets online starting Wednesday. General sales start Aug. 12.

Jamaican American rapper Sean Kingston and R&B artist B. Smyth, 7 p.m. Oct. 5

The accordion king, Ramon Ayala, 7 p.m. Oct. 6

Pop singer Neil Sedaka, 7 p.m. Oct. 7

Christian rockers Skillet, 7 p.m. Oct. 8

Bakersfield metal-band Korn, 7 p.m. Oct. 11

Disney star and singer Zendaya, Noon Oct. 12

Rapper-turned actor LL Cool J, feat. DJ Z-Trip, 7 p.m. Oct. 12
