Fresno High's 'bunkers' come tumbling down

The Fresno BeeJuly 17, 2013

An excavator on Wednesday started tearing down the Fresno High School library, one of two "bunkers" in front of the school's Royce Hall.

Fresno Unified Trustee Carol Mills was on hand to control the excavator's first bite out of the southern bunker structure. She said the area in front of Royce Hall where the bunkers are located will be replaced with a green landscaping.
