NICK ALEXANDER

Vitals: Senior, Clovis

Of note: Captured bronze in 100 back (53.81) at section D-I championships and helped Cougars strike gold in 200 free (1:26.01) and silver in 200 medley (1:37.15) relays. Also 10th overall in 50 free (22.18) for Clovis, which finished second as a team with 368.5 points.

KYLE ARCHER

Vitals: Junior, Buchanan

Of note: Helped Bears finish third at D-I finals with thirds in 100 fly (51.77) and 500 free (4:40.31) and as member of 200 medley relay (1:38.83). Also was on Buchanan's eighth-place 200 free relay team (1:30.12).

CONNOR CAIN

Vitals: Junior, Buchanan

Of note: Outclassed 15-member 1-meter D-I diving field with score of 390.2, 35.05 points more than runner-up, as Buchanan placed third as team. Also won Clovis West Invitational title, was honorable mention All-Bee last season.

JOSEPH COBARRUBIAS

Vitals: Junior, Edison

Of note: Struck gold three times at D-II championships, in 50 free (21.89), 100 free (48.25) and with 400 free relay (3:18.44). Also on Edison's second-place 200 medley relay team (1:41.54). His 50 free was third overall when combined with

D-I finals times. Was eighth overall in 100 free and relay teams were eighth and seventh, respectively.

COOPER COUCHMAN

Vitals: Senior, Clovis

Of note: Placed third in 50 free (21.95) and fifth in 100 free (47.76) at D-I finals. Also on gold medal-winning 200 free relay that swam an All-American consideration time of 1:26.01 for Cougars, who placed second.

MAX CUSATOR

Vitals: Junior, Buchanan

Of note: Reached podium at the D-I championships in four events, placing third in 100 breast (59.84) and fourth in 200 IM (1:56.96) individually, as well as second in 400 free (3:10.33) and third in 200 medley (1:37.83) relays for the Bears, who finished third as a team.

KYLE GRISSOM

Vitals: Sophomore, Porterville

Of note: Scored pair of seconds at D-I finals, swimming All-American consideration time of 50.53 in 100 fly and 21.41 in 50 free, which missed consideration mark by 0.24 seconds. Also on 15th-place 200 medley relay (1:48.69) and 200 free relay that did not make the 'A' or 'B' finals.

COLIN LANDWEER

Vitals: Senior, Lemoore

Of note: Captured first career D-I championships gold in four years in 100 free (46.31), 0.07 seconds off All-American consideration time, to help Tigers finish seventh as team. The Canisius (N.Y.)-bound Landweer was third in 200 free (1:43.10) and helped 200 free relay place fifth (1:29.84). Honorable mention All-Bee last season.

SCOTT LIDDELL

Vitals: Senior, Clovis

Of note: Earned two goals at D-I championships, winning 200 IM in an All-American consideration 1:53.45 and 500 free in 4:38.16. Also on second-place 200 medley (1:37.15) and third-place 400 free (3:11.46) relays for Cougars, who finished second as team. Honorable mention All-Bee last season. Will swim next for Hawaii.

RYAN PERRY

Vitals: Senior, Clovis

Of note: Captured silver in 100 free (47.16) and fourth in 200 free (1:43.54) for the Cougars (second in team standings). Was member of first-place 200 free relay that swam All-American consideration 1:26.01. First-team All-Bee in water polo in fall and honorable mention All-Bee swimmer in 2012.

NATHAN RHEA

Vitals: Senior, Tulare Western

Of note: Swam to gold medals at D-II championships in 200 IM and 100 breast for the third consecutive season. Won 200 IM in 1:58.18 and 100 breast in 1:00.32, which rank sixth and fourth when combined D-I finals times. Set D-II records in both events last season. Also on sixth-place 200 medley relay (1:45.48). The University of the Pacific-bound Rhea was the Central Section Male Scholar Athlete of the Year and is a four-time All-Bee selection.

BRENT TERAOKA

Vitals: Senior, Buchanan

Of note: Two-time All-Bee first-teamer in boys water polo excelled in swimming this season, winning 50 free (21.39, 0.22 seconds off All-American consideration) and placing third in 100 free (47.64) to help Bears place third as team. Also on second-place 400 free relay team, which swam a consideration 3:10.33, and third-place 200 medley relay (1:37.83).

TING WILLIAMS

Vitals: Senior, Clovis West

Of note: Helped Golden Eagles wrap up 15th section title in a row as a member of gold-medal 400 free relay that clocked an All-American consideration 3:09.27 at D-I finals. Also second in 100 back (53.43), fifth in 200 IM (1:58.04) and part of fourth-place 200 medley relay (1:38.67).

Coaching kudos

Adam Reid, Clovis West: Continued the success started under predecessor Steve Baxter by directing the Golden Eagles' 15th consecutive Central Section title (and the second under Reid's watch). Clovis West outpointed rival Clovis 408-368.5 at the Division I finals behind gold-medal performances from Justin Wright in the 200 free and 100 fly.

Bill Freeman, Tulare: Led the Redskins to the Division II title on the strength of a gold-medal effort from his 200 free relay team and second-place finishes from Eric Schlick in the 50 free, Conor Martin in the 100 free, Trevor De Leeuw in the 500 free and the 400 free relay team.
