Of note: Repeat Bee All-Star closed accomplished career by placing second in section individual tournament.

MADISON MENUCCI

Vitals: Senior, Bullard

Of note: Emerged from long Pookie Gonzalez shadow on campus to win Clovis North Tournament, go 15-4 and reach section individual semis.

ASHLYN RIDING

Vitals: Senior, Buchanan

Of note: Gave Bee POY Moua Yang of Clovis East her only loss and led Bears to unbeaten season and section team title.

ELIZABETH THENG

Vitals: Sophomore, Clovis North

Of note: Combined with Lam to capture section doubles crown.

PANG VANG

Vitals: Senior, Sunnyside

Of note: Teamed with Her for runner-up finish in section doubles.

COACHING KUDOS

Bene Azali, Buchanan: Led the Bears to a 17-0 record while unseating two-year reigning champion Clovis East for the Central Section title.

Janine Sodersten, Clovis East: Having won the section crown in three of previous four years, she nearly pulled it off again with a fairly young team, losing to Buchanan 10-9 in the championship after being dominated 14-5 by the Bears earlier.
