Madera police are investigating a prostitution ring that may be involved with human trafficking victims from El Salvador.

Police Sgt. Matt Wiles said detectives served a warrant Thursday morning in the 1000 block of Tulare Street after watching a house on the block.

Wiles said the operation moves women from one home to another on a weekly basis throughout California.

Detectives also served warrants at an undisclosed address in Fresno.

Additional information was not immediately available.
