Junior left-hander Jack Wheeless improved to 5-0 with an 0.96 ERA, Trenton Kemp homered among three hits and drove in four runs, and Colton Worthington had three hits as the 13-0-1 Bears blasted Clovis West 15-1. They'll play in the first Boras Baseball Classic next week in Sacramento. For 10-3 Clovis, McCarthy Tatum delivered three hits, two RBIs and the pitching win, and Jacob Gatewood was a triple shy of the cycle while driving in two runs in a 13-4 win over Central. The Cougars will play in next week's 34-team Fresno Easter Classic.
