The Fresno Police Department needs the public's help in finding two suspects wanted for murder.

Police said the public should not apprehend McKinley Calvin Williams, 31, or Juan Carlos Salazar Rodriguez, 32, because they are considered armed and dangerous.

Instead, tipsters should call detective Jennifer Federico at (559) 621-2449 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to their arrest. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

Williams is suspected of killing 28-year-old Johnnie Massey, who was shot just before 4 a.m. April 20 last year as he stood in the parking lot of Parkland Hotel, 3095 N. Parkway Drive, north of Shields Avenue and west of Highway 99.

Federico said Massey was involved in a fight earlier that evening with Williams at a local nightclub. After the killing, Williams is believed to have fled to Sacramento, police said.

Rodriguez is suspected in the shooting death of 51-year-old Gabriel Nunes around 9:30 p.m. Sept. 18 last year. Nunes was discovered dead in the yard of a home at 4645 N. Crystal Ave. near West and Gettysburg avenues.

Police believe Nunes was killed in a dispute over money. After the killing, police said, Rodriguez fled to Tijuana, Mexico.
