CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Authorities in San Diego County say a 15-year-old girl hid in a closet and called police while three burglars ransacked her home.

Three people were arrested when police arrived at the Chula Vista home Tuesday afternoon.

U-T San Diego (http://bit.ly/XqDkW1) says the girl called 911 to report that she'd heard people opening a window and entering the home. The girl said she grabbed her phone and hid in an upstairs closet.

Police Capt. Gary Wedge says the girl seemed frightened during the call but remarkably composed.

The teen told the newspaper that she hid behind some clothes and a burglar opened the closet but didn't see her.

Arriving officers found three people loading property into a stolen car. They arrested two 17-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man.
