  Fire destroyed a Dinuba home where eight people lived, the Dinuba Fire Department said Monday.

  The fire was reported about 6 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Kamm Avenue, Dinuba Fire Chief Chad Thompson said.

  It started in the rear of the home in a washing machine and spread into the attic and eaves, he said. When the roof started collapsing, firefighters left the inside of the home for safety and attacked the fire from the outside.
