Corcoran High student accused of tweeting threats to kill teacher, shoot up school

Police arrested a 17-year-old Corcoran High School male student Tuesday on suspicion of sending out threats on Twitter to kill teachers and shoot up the school.

Officers took the student into custody at the campus about 10:40 a.m. He was booked into the Kings County juvenile center and charged with making criminal threats, police said Wednesday.

No weapons were found during a search of the student's home and his belongings.
