The bill that state Sen. Anthony Cannella is proposing about the freeze on college tuition leaves me with more negative thoughts. As a community college student, it raises concerns about classes and programs being cut.

If the college needs to make cuts, then classes will be the first place they start. It is already difficult to get into classes because they are full, so what will it be like when the classes we need are cut?

I think that the freeze on tuition will end up being the wrong thing to do in the long run. In my opinion, the negatives will outweigh the positives of the bill.
