The Kremen School of Education and Human Development at Fresno State was honored with the 2013 Best Practice Award for Professional Ethics and Moral Dispositions in Teacher Education from the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education on March 2.

The award recognizes excellence in a school, college or department of education for illustrative and purposeful attention to ethics and moral dispositions in teacher education, association spokeswoman Lisa Kiefer said.

Kiefer said judges chose the Kremen School for its commitment to preparing educators who understand the moral and ethical dimensions of teaching.
