A two-day health fair was held at Sunnyside High in Fresno. Most of the services at the fair were providing basic medical health screenings, vision screening and dental care to uninsured and underinsured at no charge.

Fresno Unified's mobile health unit was on site to provide immunizations, including Tdap, required for all incoming 7th graders. Preventive screenings including asthma and mammograms were offered. A variety of health-related booths were hosted by community groups emphasizing nutrition, medical, vision and alternative medicine.

Dental care included cleaning, fillings and extractions. Healthy Fresno 2013 was organized by the Tzu Chi Medical Foundation and community partners including Kaiser Permanente Fresno.
