Cole Gillespie had a clutch three-run homer in the ninth inning which proved to be the difference-maker, as San Francisco took a 9-7 victory over Colorado in spring training action on Sunday.

Hunter Pence and Brandon Belt each had three hits and drove in two runs for the Giants, who saw starter Tim Lincecum last four innings and allow two runs on three hits while striking out one batter.

Michael Cuddyer had two doubles and drove in three runs and Troy Tulowitzki had a two-run double for Colorado, who saw reliever Daniel Rosenbaum blow a 7-5 edge and allow two runs on two hits.
