A community health fair will be held this weekend at Sunnyside High School to provide free basic medical screenings to uninsured and underinsured people.
The two-day heath fair will provide guests with health and vision screenings and dental care, said Fresno Unified School District spokeswoman Susan Bedi.
Fresno Unified's mobile health unit also will be on site to provide immunizations, including the Tdap shot required for all incoming seventh-graders.
Registration opens at 7 a.m. The event is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Reedley library reopening delayed
The reopening of the Reedley branch of the Fresno County Public Library will be delayed one day and reopen on Saturday, county librarian Laurel Prysiazny said.
The branch was scheduled to reopen today but will open its doors on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Tamejavi session set at Arte Americas
The fifth installment of the Tamejavi Culture and Art Series will take place Saturday at Arte Américas in Fresno.
The "Otomi Culture Alive in the Central Valley" art presentation event at 1630 Van Ness Ave. from 5 to 7 p.m. will also include Otomi culinary specialties and an opportunity to learn about the Meso-American indigenous population.
