Odds-on favorite Caixa Eletronica battled for the lead and then ran away down the stretch to win Thursday's $75,000 Uncle Mo Stakes at Aqueduct.

Making his first start since November, Caixa Eletronica, ridden by Javier Castellano, broke from the inside post in the six-furlong race and was joined on the lead by 13-1 longshot Broad Rule.

The top two runners battled around the far turn and heading into the stretch when Caixa Eletronica pulled away. Trained by Todd Pletcher, the 1-5 favorite left his four rivals far behind down the stretch and registered a 2 3/4-length victory.

Broad Rule finished second followed by Ponzi Scheme, St Liams Halo and Chasin the Cash.

The time for the Uncle Mo was 1:10.59 on a fast track.

Owned by Mike Repole, Caixa Eletronica added $45,000 to his earnings which now total $1,643,205. The overnight stakes was the 8-year-old's 20th career win in 61 starts.

Caixa Eletronica wrapped up his 2012 season with a four-length win in the Fall Highweight Handicap at Aqueduct. His biggest win last year came in the $1 million Charles Town Classic. He also won the Rise Jim Stakes at Aqueduct last year and the True North Handicap at Belmont Park.

Caixa Eletronica returned $2.30, $2.10 and $2.10. Broad Rule paid $4.20 and $2.40, and Ponzi Scheme paid $2.20 to show.
