An F-16 fighter jet stationed at Fresno Yosemite International Airport has landed safely at the airport after developing an engine problem, authorities said Wednesday morning.

The plane's instruments apparently alerted the pilot to a problem with oil pressure, the Fresno Fire Department reported. The jet circled the airport for several minutes to burn off some fuel before landing about 11:15 a.m.
