Tim Lincecum made his first spring training start since Feb. 26, striking out three and allowing three runs on three hits, as the Padres took a 6-2 decision over San Francisco on Tuesday.

Lincecum had missed his last two starts with a blister on his middle finger, but lasted 2 1/3 innings in defeat.

Jesus Guzman went 1-for-3 with a two-RBI double and Everth Cabrera hit 3-for-4 and scored two runs for San Diego (9-9). Freddy Garcia picked up the win and tossed four innings of three-hit ball, striking out six batters and giving up one run.

Juan Perez and Johnny Monell each added an RBI for the Giants (6-8) in defeat.
