Woman, 40, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery attempt of Clovis liquor store

A 40-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with an attempted armed robbery at a Clovis liquor store Sunday afternoon, police said.

Officers took the woman into custody at her home during a parole search.

The woman is accused of attempting to rob the Step-N-Shop Liquor store at Ashlan and Willow avenues about 2:30 p.m. No one was injured.
