Police are looking for a man believed to be responsible for two Fresno robberies since mid-February.

The man is described as Hispanic, 5-feet, 7-inches tall, slightly built and in his early 20s, police said.

On Feb. 16, a man jumped over the counter at Star Food Mart convenience store, 2407 N. Fruit Ave., about 5:25 p.m., bumped a female clerk backward, removed money from the cash register and left, police said.

On Monday, the robber ordered yogurt at TCBY at 7064 N. Cedar Ave., about 4:30 p.m., then showed a female clerk a handgun tucked in his waistband, demanded money from the register and left.

Anyone with information can call detective Brandi Phebus at (559) 621-2427 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867.
