Brandon Moss and Andy Parrino drove in two runs apiece to lead the Oakland Athletics to a 6-3 win over the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday.

Yoenis Cespedes and Eric Sogard added RBI doubles for the Athletics, who saw starter Tommy Milone surrender three runs on six hits over 3 2/2 innings.

Alex Gordon clubbed a solo homer, while Max Ramirez and Johnny Giavotella both added an RBI for the Royals (13-2), who dropped their second game of the spring.

Royals hurler James Shields, who was acquired from Tampa Bay in the offseason, gave up four runs on six hits while striking out six over 4 2/3 frames.
