  Servin entered the no contest plea on Wednesday in Kings County Superior Court. He faces a maximum sentence of seven years in prison but is eligible for probation, the District Attorney's Office said.

  A parolee clad only in his underwear ran from police, then gave the pursuing officers a hand by jumping a fence into the southeast Fresno police substation.

  The unusual arrest happened Wednesday night. About 9:30 p.m., officers went to an apartment complex in the 4300 block of East Hamilton Avenue to search for Maurice Hackett, 35, who had bailed out of jail recently on a weapons charge, police Sgt. Paul Cervantes said. While searching an apartment where Hackett was staying, officers found a stolen and loaded .45 caliber handgun, Cervantes said.

  The parolee ran out of the apartment, dressed only in boxer shorts and socks. As he was being chased, Hackett jumped into the lot of the nearby substation, where he was taken into custody.
