The Fresno County District Attorney's Office said it will discuss on Tuesday the fraternity hazing incident at Fresno State that led to the alcohol-related death of a freshman pledge last year.

The District Attorney's office didn't indicate whether it would prosecute a case in the death of Philip Dhanens, 18, of Bakersfield.

Officials said they would hold a news conference on Tuesday to discuss the issues surrounding those who provided alcohol to the victim at a party on Aug. 31, 2012.

"The Fresno County District Attorney's Office and Fresno Police Department have partnered to highlight the repercussions of underage drinking, as well as the consequences and responsibility" of providing alcoholic beverages to minors, a prepared statement said.

Dhanens' blood alcohol level was 0.36 -- between four and five times the legal limit for drivers.

No other details were immediately available.
