Monday morning, former Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom had another workout heading to the Dubai World Cup on March 30.

Working at Palm Meadows Training Center near Gulfstream Park, the 5-year-old worked seven-furlongs in 1:26.77 over a firm turf course. He was the only horse to work that distance on the grass.

Trained by Graham Motion, Animal Kingdom will have one more workout before the $10 million World Cup.

Owned by Team Valor, the horse was second in last month's Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap behind Point of Entry. It was his first start since finishing second in the Breeders' Cup Mile to Wise Dan in November at Santa Anita.

Animal Kingdom won the 2011 Spiral Stakes and Kentucky Derby, and was second in the Preakness Stakes.
