A Fresno man was ordered to stand trial Monday in the September death of his girlfriend.

Gabriel Rosiles, 30, is suspected in the beating and murder of Michelle Jimenez, 30, in the couple's mobile home in the 3600 block of South Cherry Avenue.

Judge Arlan Harrell's decision ended a preliminary hearing that started Wednesday in Fresno County Superior Court.

Rosiles denies involvement and his lawyer, Miles Harris, said there is no evidence that proves Rosiles killed Jimenez.

Rosiles' family members testified that Rosiles found Jimenez in the couple's bathroom with the shower running. They said he and Jimenez were being threatened since late August, when Jimenez's brothers and father were arrested in connection with a double murder on the same property.

Jose Alfredo Jimenez, 51, his 18-year-old stepson, Michael Ray Pranger, and his 34-year-old son, Jose Mario Jimenez, are suspected in the shooting deaths of Jimmy Oliver Sr., 45, and Jimmy Oliver Jr., 21.
