Dioner Navarro and Christian Villanueva both clubbed two-run homers as the Chicago Cubs downed the San Diego Padres, 9-3, on Sunday.

Jorge Soler added a solo shot and Alfonso Soriano drove in a pair of runs for the Cubs, who saw starter Scott Feldman give up two runs on four hits over three innings. Travis Wood earned the win after giving up just one hit while striking out six over four shutout innings.

Mark Kotsay knocked in a pair and Yasmani Grandal had an RBI for the Padres.

Jason Marquis twirled four shutout innings in the start for San Diego, but Tim Stauffer surrendered four runs on four hits over two innings to absorb the loss.
