No one injured in Porterville motel fire

A fire broke out on the second story of a Motel 6 in Porterville on Sunday, officials said.

Firefighters put out the blaze and no injuries were reported at the motel near Morton Avenue and Porter Road, fire Capt. Glen Hall said.

The fire was reported around 2:40 p.m., Hall said. The cause is still under investigation. No other details were immediately available.
