4 arrested at DUI checkpoint in central Fresno

Police arrested four people on suspicion of driving while intoxicated during a sobriety checkpoint in central Fresno on Friday night and early Saturday.

In addition, 12 vehicles were impounded because drivers were arrested on suspicion of DUI or did not have valid driver's licenses.

The checkpoint was conducted in the southbound lanes of First Street near Olive Avenue.
