Clovis faces Frontier today at the Central California Showcase baseball tournament with Cougars coach James Patrick still one win from becoming the third Central Section coach to 600 wins.

Redlands won its sixth straight to open the season and keep Patrick stuck on 599 with a 2-1 victory Friday. The Cougars led 1-0 through three, but the Terriers tied in the fourth then went ahead in the fifth with the help of a walk, wild pitch and a throwing error.

Clovis, No. 4-ranked in the section, faces Frontier at 1:30 p.m. The Titans are 5-2-1 after their 3-2 win over Granite Bay on Friday.
