Marco Pierce hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning, lifting Clovis West to a 3-2 victory over Centennial at the Central California Showcase.

Boys volleyball

Clovis is 3-0 at the Best of the West in San Diego. Rohit Paul had 35 kills vs. Oak Park, St. John Bosco and Torrey Pines. The Cougars, fifth seeded in the Gold Bracket, face Orange Lutheran today.
