Valley briefs: Danish food, boutique today in Easton

Women of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Easton will hold a Danish smorgasbord and country store boutique today at 5955 S. Elm Ave. The boutique opens at 3:30 p.m. and dinner will be served 4-7 p.m. in the church parish. Take-out orders will be available. Dinner cost $12, 50 cents per year through age 10.

Run today at Woodward Park

Fresno Sunrise Rotary Run will be held at 7 a.m. today in Woodward Park at the Mountain View Shelter. Proceeds benefit the Rotary projects for children and people of all ages in our community. Children 9 and younger races 7:40 a.m.; 5-mile run at 7:55 a.m. and 2-mile walk and run at 8 a.m. New to the race are 2- and 5-mile timed races. The cost is $25, $10 for children.

Women's Network monthly lunch Tues.

Fresno Women's Network's monthly luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at TorNino's Banquets, 5080 N. Blackstone Ave. Tiffany Nielsen, a founder and president of Premier Etiquette and a two-time published author, will discuss her works "The Power of Civility" and "Incredible Business." The cost is $17.

Peach Blossom Festival planned

The Peach Blossom Festival of Oral Interpretation will be held March 14-15 at Fresno State. Approximately 6,000 children representing nearly 200 elementary schools will participate in the festival. Times for the event March 14 are 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.; March 15 times are 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon.

Ronald McDonald House will hold a family reunion from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. March 16 at Ronald McDonald House Charities, 9161 Randall Way in Madera.
