Two people were in critical condition following a shooting in Exeter late Thursday night.

Police went to the 300 block of West Visalia Road about 11:45 p.m. and found the two wounded people. While officers treated the victims, a suspect called police and made incriminating statements, police said.

The suspect was convinced to turn himself in and officers recovered weapons.

Police did not identify the victims or the suspect.

Anyone with information about the case can contact police detective Ashley Salinas at (559) 592-3103.
