A family dispute at a Parlier apartment complex Wednesday night ended with one man dead and one man in jail on a murder charge, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said.
The shooting was reported about 9:29 p.m. at the Salandini Villa Apartments at 13785 E. Manning Ave. in Parlier. The victim was taken to Adventist Medical Center in Reedley, where he died, said sheriff's Lt. Gregg Andreotti. He was identified Thursday as 42-year-old Michael Lopez.
Sheriff's deputies arrested 69-year-old Robert Lopez in connection with the murder, Sgt. Jeff Kertson said. The sheriff's department did not identify the relationship between the two men.
