A big rig carrying a load of turkeys overturned early Wednesday morning near Chowchilla, knocking power lines down, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The accident happened about 5:45 a.m. on Harvey Pettit Road near Minturn Road, north of Chowchilla and east of Highway 99.

It does not appear anyone was injured in the accident. Firefighters and Pacific Gas & Electric Co. employees responded for the power lines and Foster Farms was called for the turkeys.
