Jaff Decker hit a solo homer and the San Diego pitching staff combined for a four-hit gem as the Padres blanked the Chicago White Sox, 4-0, in spring training action on Sunday.

Chase Headley, Cameron Maybin and Nick Hundley each had RBI doubles off White Sox starter Jake Peavy, who took the loss after surrendering three runs on five hits in three innings of work.

Clayton Richard made the start and picked up the win for San Diego. He didn't allow a hit over two innings pitched and Anthony Bass, Tim Stauffer and Daniel Stange combined for seven strikeouts in relief.
