First-year Charleston Southern football coach Jamey Chadwell will make his debut against The Citadel and the Buccaneers will play five home games in a 12-game 2013 schedule announced on Friday.

Four of CSU's first five games will be on the road, starting with the Aug. 31 opener against crosstown rival The Citadel.

The Buccaneers' home games will be against Shorter (Sept. 7), North Greenville (Oct. 5) and Charlotte (Oct. 26) as well as Big South Conference members Coastal Carolina (Nov. 9) and Liberty (Nov. 23).
