Lanus won for the third time in as many games to start the season on Saturday as the club slipped past Velez Sarsfield, 1-0.

Silvio Romero provided the lone goal in the 35th minute for Lanus, which has yet to concede a goal this season and has outscored the opposition, 8-0.

Independiente won for the second time in three games as the club topped Racing, 2-0, Belgrano got an 88th-minute winner from Martin Zapata to down Colon, 2-1 and on Monday, San Martin played to a 1-1 draw with Newell's Old Boys.
