Seth Loman slugged a game-tying three-run homer as the Chicago White Sox scored seven times in the top of the eighth inning to rally for a 9-9 tie against the San Francisco Giants in a Cactus League matchup on Monday.

Josh Bell came through with a two-run double in front of Loman's blast, while Jared Mitchell tripled come a pair of runners in the sixth to help the White Sox fight back from a 9-0 deficit after three innings.

Cole Gillespie paced San Francisco offensively by going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored. Joaquin Arias also knocked in two in the deadlock, with Marco Scutaro finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI single for the defending world champions.

Madison Bumgarner started for the Giants and tossed two scoreless innings, allowing a pair of hits and a walk. Fabio Castillo was roughed up for five runs on three hits and two walks while retiring just two batters during Chicago's eighth-inning barrage.

White Sox starter Hector Santiago surrendered three runs on five hits over the first two frames before being relieved by Andre Rienzo, who was charged with five runs while failing to record an out.
